Wind Collapses Family Tent"Robin's Adventures In Camping Equipment"

My daughter recently went camping in the mountains of Alberta.
While in their tent, on a windy night a rather gusty period
managed to collapse their tent. They were forced to find refuge
else where. The tent was a ten man tent and had all steel poles.
Do you have any suggestions about what kind of tent will with
stand strong mountain winds please post it for all to read.

Thanks Robin

Try a Eureka Tent. I survived a 90mph+ wind storm at Estes Park, Co in a Eureka. Most of the tents collapsed and a lot of people abandoned their tent in the middle of the night.
I just found your blogs: found the fishing one first, then this, I look forward to reading them. I have my own fishing blogs: www.ctfishing.blogspot.com and www.ctfishingreports.blogspot.com
